Partnerships are the bedrock of our success. Our ability to contribute to systemic change depends on our ability to collaborate. By building alliances with the disability movement, civil society organisations, foundations, governments and businesses, we become agents of change for an inclusive society and open up strategic funding opportunities.
We work with and through a network of resource organizations in the country. DIROs are responsible for: management of project implementation including local coordination of all project activities, financial management and accountability for funds received for the implementation of the project and administrative support for funds control, disbursement, accounting, and reporting, and for the supervision of all project personnel, resource persons and other project-related personnel. DIROs also manage and deliver the SeeYou Foundation Disability Inclusion Helpdesk.
With our local project partners we implement sustainable programmes aiming at system change. We are a convener, bringing diverse stakeholders together. Social change and sustainable development outcomes depend on the contributions of diverse actors, and their ability to respond to changing circumstances. We want to trigger systems change in our focus countries – and globally – through innovative pilot initiatives and comprehensive programmes.
